Double Time
The 2010 Langley Ukulele Workshop

September 24 & 25, 2010

This year our theme is "Double Time" and it's a fitting one. 2010 may well be remembered as a watershed year for ukulele as the global revival of the instrument kicks into a new, higher gear. If there's a cure for the ukulele bug, we certainly haven't found it yet!

In 2010, the Langley Ukulele Workshop also takes the meaning of "Double Time" a little more literally: we've added Friday evening to the schedule, giving you more time with your clinicians and colleagues.  A Friday evening start and an earlier finish on Saturday; we listened to your feedback!

The most notable change in 2010, however, is a shift in our approach to content. With the introduction of the James Hill Ukulele Initiative teacher certification program (a separate course that offers in-depth ukulele teacher training), the Langley Ukulele Workshop is broadening it's scope to include a multitude of topics and perspectives for teachers and enthusiasts of all levels. This year, our clinicians have been given one simple mandate: teach what you're passionate about. The result is the most colourful, diverse and exciting lineup of workshops we've ever presented! Click here for a detailed workshop schedule.

Join clinicians J. Chalmers Doane, James Hill, Peter Luongo, Jamie Thomas and Paul Luongo at Double Time 2010! Don't miss this opportunity to learn from Canada's leading ukulele teachers, meet new people, jam and learn new skills. Register today!

Only days until the workshop!
